What is the GMS Parents' Club?

The Parent Teacher Organization (“PTO”) at Grassland Middle School is called the Grassland Middle School Parents' Club.  Membership is automatic!  All parents and legal guardians of GMS students are considered members of the Parents' Club.  No membership fee or registration process is involved to become a member of the Parents' Club.

The Parents’ Club formed in 1986 after Grassland Middle School first opened its doors and for 40 years has supported the students, staff, and parents of Grassland Middle School.  Some of the ways our support continues today include:

• Hosting the annual back-to-school Generals Fair
• Offering families a convenient way to buy school supplies online and having the supplies delivered directly to school
• Coordinating fundraising efforts for the school through our primary fundraiser, The Generals Fund, and other fundraising endeavors
• Promoting school spirit through the sale of spirit wear and accessories
• Producing an annual school directory
• Making building and grounds improvements both inside and outside the GMS facilities and campus
• Hosting staff appreciation events
• Securing volunteer resources to help staff the front office
• Securing volunteer resources to assist school staff with special events
• Helping to keep families in the know and supported
• Assisting GMS with communications to the parent community
• Supporting the beliefs, missions, and vision statements of GMS

2026-27 Parents Club Meeting Schedule

Meetings will be held at 9:00am on the below dates in the School Media Center.

*Typically meetings are on the 2nd Monday of the month (after school has started for the year), or if there is no school in session on the 2nd Monday, they will be held on the 3rd Monday of the month.
